Foam/Latex Tanto

The SBPT-TANTO is a wonderful replica of a Japanese tanto. It is fabricated from latex foam and exceptionally well suited for Live Action Role Play(LARP), martial arts training or theatrical use. It features a blade length of 12 inches and overall length of 19 inches. The suedette covered grip has a solid feel making it both comfortable to hold and easy to control. The blade is steel colored and the pommel and hilt bronze colored providing realistic look. The SBPT-TANTO is part of the Paladin series of products.

Doing this prevents stress on the tip and makes it almost impossible to cause creasing or weak spots that could lead to breaks.

Our manufacturer uses a revolutionary painting technique on these weapons that is engineered to reflect light exactly as real metal would. The paint is also designed to protect the weapon, providing a strong barrier that stretches slightly with each flex.
