The Dark Moon Knuckleduster is made from extremely durable foam that does not shred and sealed with a strong coating of latex. This item is coreless. The Knuckleduster is a futuristic take on the very well known brass knuckles. This handheld LARP knuckleduster features 5 pointy knuckles that come in handy for close combat! Please do take caution with this knuckleduster, the knuckles are relatively stiff and pointy and may hurt your opponent if you hit them too hard, we recommend very light combat/play with this item. Perfect for any futuristic LARPs and makes for a great character accessory or prop.
Latex knuckledusters do need to be maintained to a certain degree. We offer a Maintenance Silicone that can be purchased separately in the LARP Accessories section. We recommend you use the Silicone on a regular basis, it is a easy, spray on application. The silicone will keep the coating flexible and make the knuckledusters last much longer. The maintenance silicone protects the coating from drying out, and helps the knuckleduster resist wear and tear. With proper maintenance and storage, your LARP knuckledusters will last you a very long time.

The flintlock pistol was the greatest advance in pirating since the wooden leg. The concept was fairly simple: gunpowder was stuffed into the barrel. A lead ball, usually wrapped in some sort of fabric, was stuffed in. A hammer was then pulled back half-way and left that way until the gun was ready to fire. The pistol technically was not meant to fire in this position, although sometimes they were known to go off half-cocked (and yes, that is the origin of that expression). When the gun was ready to be fired, the hammer was pulled back all the way and the trigger was squeezed. If you're feeling flinty, go check out the Strongblade selection of flintlock pistols, blunderbuss pistols and flintlock rifles.
